Nattybumpo

Nathaniel is a visual artist and muralist working in digital medium and physical recycled materials. Heavily influenced by jobs he has done over the years and skills that don't normally fall into the category of fine arts. Masonry, dental lab, commercial and residential construction as well as a fine arts education and digital game art design have led to a different approach. Eyes open to a broader definition of art, he quickly moved away from traditional oil painting to experiment with unusual materials from scattered sources. Often working in used construction materials, paints and interior doors, Nathaniel builds landscapes and worlds that are decidedly of Southern California. He approaches each of his pieces with a simple goal, to grow a sense of joy and wonder inside the viewer in the hope of making the world just a little bit better.
